Training Program Handbook & Training Handbook Supplement
Everything you need to know about training and assessment can be
found in the Training Program Handbook.
The Training Program Handbook is updated after each meeting of
Council and at other times as needed. As such, it is regularly updated and trainees and Fellows are strongly advised to consult the latest online version.
In late 2003 the College introduced the RANZCOG Curriculum and a new training program based upon this document. At the time, the College put in place certain transition arrangements, which were determined by the extent to which any given trainee had progressed through the training program.
Since 2004 the Training Program Handbook ( 1.15 MB) has contained information relating to both the new and old training programs. However, as the majority of College trainees are part of the new training program, the Handbook was revised early in 2007. The Training Program Handbook is a COMPLETE resource for all New Curriculum trainees, although much of the content remains relevant to ALL TRAINEES (e.g. information on training documentation).
Information relevant only to trainees continuing with the old program (including the old syllabus and the Distance Education Program) is contained in the Training Handbook Supplement ( 364 KB).
