The President's medal should generally be awarded once per Council term toward the end of that term, but there may be more than one recipient under exceptional circumstances.
It is awarded to Fellows of the College who have made an outstanding contribution to the work of the College.
Nominations for this medal are made by the President. It is awarded by Council on recommendation by the President and Honours Committee.
The President’s Medal is the highest honour awarded by the Honours Committee and precludes the awarding of any other medals.
