Clinical Handover Guidelines

SOLS is committed to safety and quality. The management group, in consultation with the SOLS medical advisor, have prepared guidelines on effective patient handover for SOLS applicants and locums.  

The program decided to fund the cost of the handover time. This confirms the commitment of SOLS to safety and quality. It also encourages the applicant and locum to perform the appropriate handover. The program further sought to ensure compliance with the guidelines by incorporating them into the participant agreements.
