The RANZCOG New Zealand Committee's 2012 Annual Scientific Meeting will be held in Rotorua from 21 to 24 March 2012The theme of the meeting is The Changing Faces of our Specialty, reflecting on historical past practices, changes that have occurred, what is new and what we see for the future of our profession. We are privileged to have international keynote speakers, Professor Christopher Sutton from the UK, a pioneer of minimal access surgery who will reflectfrom a historical perspective on changes in our profession. Associate Professor Martin Oehler from Adelaide will bring us up to date with robotic surgery and Professor Thierry Vancaillie will discuss new sterilization methods and update us on pelvic pain.
The organising committee has also assembled an excellent list of national speakers to bring us from the past to the present, covering a wide range of O&G topics. We also have significant time allocated for registrar paper presentations. Exhibitions from our general sponsors will be present.
