UGSA Workshop -
Current controversies in Pelvic Floor Dysfunction: An Australasian Perspective
Being held in association with the RANZCOG 2010 Annual Scientific Meeting in Adelaide, South Australia.

The inaugural workshop of the Urogynaecological Society of Australasia (UGSA) is aimed at all nurses, physiotherapists, obstetricians and gynaecologists and urologists with an interest in female pelvic floor dysfunction. The full day workshop will include a variety of didactic lectures, case presentations, videos and free-abstract presentations covering all aspects of female pelvic floor dysfunction.
A pelvic floor and continence workshop showcasing what is world's best clinical practice by presenting "cutting edge" rigorous research and peer reviewed management of complex urogynaecological conditions. A day spent being quickly bought up to date by Australia's leading clinicians and researchers in the field of urogynaecology.
The inaugural meeting of the Urogynaecological Society of Australasia will be held at 4.00pm following the scientific meeting. This meeting will set up a program of meetings into the future emphasising high level research and peer reviewed clinical practice.

First Trimester Ultrasound: Half Day Update Course
Being held in association with the RANZCOG 2010 Annual Scientific Meeting in Adelaide, South Australia.

Ultrasound is an essential component of modern obstetric care. It is therefore an important requirement that personnel performing the first trimester scan are properly trained and that high standards are maintained by continuing education and audit. The certification in the first trimester scan is open to all those involved in obstetric ultrasound, including obstetricians, radiologists, sonographers, midwives and genetic counsellors.
