The LEAP Framework Pilot Project

What is the LEAP Framework?

The LEAP Framework is a way to understand and describe the diverse roles and the wide range of skills, knowledge, attitudes and attributes that are considered to be part of being a medical professional today.

The LEAP Framework provides a generic framework for continuing professional development (CPD) that has been developed for Australian medical specialists, applicable to a range of disciplines and practice settings More

A pilot to test the framework in practice was funded by the Australian professionalGovernment's Department of Health & Ageing on behalf of the Committee of Presidents of Medical Colleges
The results of the LEAP Framework Pilot have been collated and the report has been finalized. A copy of the full report (55 pages) is now available for download ( 356KB).
