Did you know that your RACGP credit point statements are now available through the RACGP website under QA&CPD 'Your Credit Point Statement'?

Administration of points

Women's Reproductive Health Points are administered as follows:

  • Fellows of the RACGP
    For Diplomates who are Fellows of the RACGP points are administered by the RACGP. Any queries regarding points should be directed to the RACGP.
  • Vocationally Registered with the RACGP
    For Diplomates who are vocationally registered with the RACGP points are administered by the RACGP. Any queries regarding points should be directed to the RACGP.
  • Fellows of ACRRM
    For Diplomates who are Fellows of ACRRM points are administered by ACRRM. Any queries regarding points should be directed to ACRRM.
  • Vocationally Registered with ACRRM
    For Diplomates who are vocationally registered with ACRRM points are administered by ACRRM. Any queries regarding points should be directed to ACRRM.
  • Diplomates not registered with RACGP or ACRRM
    For Diplomates not registered with either the RACGP or ACRRM points are administered by the RANZCOG. Any queries regarding points should be directed to

Timeout / Exemption from Women's Reproductive Health Requirements

Timeout or exemption

Diploma holders can request a reduction in their Women's Reproductive Health Points for:

  • Maternity leave (for 6 months or longer)
  • Extended period of leave from clinical practice due to ill health (for 6 months or longer)
  • Practising overseas (for 6 months or longer)
  • Volunteer work overseas (for 6 months or longer)
  • Participation in the RANZCOG, RACGP, ACRRM or other College Fellowship Training Program

Requests for timeout or exemption from accruing Women's Reproductive Health Points must be made in writing to
Ms Val Spark
Continuing Professional Development Co-ordinator, RANZCOG.

Points calculation

Points will be calculated as follows:

Full triennium exemption:

  • No points required

Two year exemption:

  • 10 points required
    (minimum of one Category 1 activity)

One year exemption:

  • 20 points required
    (minimum of one Category 1 activity)
