RANZCOG Curriculum
In late 2003 the College introduced the RANZCOG Curriculum and a new training program based upon this document. It is more than a syllabus listing medical topics and encompasses a complete educational plan. Educational objectives are specified to provide clear information of the knowledge and aspects of practice where competency is expected and assessed.
The Curriculum also specifies assessment formats selected to test the articulated objectives and ensure that all outcome expectations are seen as valued achievements.

Trainees' Statement of Understanding
With the approval of the RANZCOG Trainees' Subcommittee, the College has developed a Statement of Understanding document for all ITP, Elective and Subspecialty trainees. The Statement clearly outlines trainees' rights and responsibilities, and is signed not only by the trainee, but by their Training Supervisor and the relevant TA/Subspecialty Committee Chair.
