Practice Profile
Why has the College introduced a practice profile?
Until fairly recently, almost without exception, RANZCOG Fellows practiced in both obstetrics and gynaecology and the College could confidently use the number of actively practising Fellows as a reasonable approximation of the obstetric workforce. This is no longer the case.
Workforce issues are of great concern to the College, and currently there is no data on the day to day work profile of the Fellowship. The information held at the College is basic demographic information. In planning the O&G workforce for the future, it is vital for the College to understand the current work profile of the speciality.

Specialists practice profile report
In the future the aggregated results will be available, enabling you to benchmark yourself against other Fellows. The information obtained will be vital in future planning of workforce and numbers of training sites, and informing us about where there may be gaps in workforce provision. This is especially important in provincial areas.
